Oxygen Absorbers

Oxygen absorbers are used to remove or reduce the available oxygen in the packaged products which helps maintain product safety and extends the shelf-life of food products. If used correctly, oxygen absorbers can reduce oxygen to a level of 0.01% in packets. They also help in removing odour.

‍The capacity of an oxygen absorber varies from 20cc to 2000cc.

Iron Powder with good oxygen-absorbing capacity is preferred for this application.
